well a update to the vechile situation
The original plan was to take the motor out of my pickup and put it into the 4runner. The reason being the 4 runner had a MAJOR rod nock... and wanted a 2nd vehicle that my wife and kids could fit into..
WELL......toasted the motor in the truck..
SO
I had motor built for me and I installed it into the $runner
After a little friendly teasing about looking like a grandmas rig
Spent the day coaxing the tires off my truck onto the $runner
with a little bit of work the 33 inch tires fit nicely
trimmed the fenders in the front a tad
added some taller shackles and a 1" block in the rear to level it out
no torsion bars turned at all
Not gonna mess around with it till i get some more miles on the motor
Then it will be SAS time

got a dual t case set up im and working on
21 spline into a 23 spline
both cases stock gears atm
future plans are 4.7 in rear

may try to make these
Check e-bay for the tripple boot and or checl marlin's site. There is a classified forum that people sell used stuff, you may find a shifter set up there.
Truck looks really good. When you do the SAS let me know if you need that mini cv back.
I may have to cut the non cv flange off it and use it to make me a new front d-line that clears my new oil pan. It is aluminum : )

did the damage happen in one incident, or was it progressive sheet-metal damage over the course of the trip?
That pic was sorta cumulative. On the fordyce trip we just put a little kink in the door and fender getting around a tree. The trip itself was over 3 days started
In 18 degree snowing evening run with high water and the nit was unreall. snow, wind and apple pie in the Dutch. Could not walk by fire as snow wou
D melt and refreeze so anywhere around fire was seriously ice skating. We cooked dinner ian ez up that was our only one for 4 guys and it was held down by logs cause it was blowing so hard gunners tent was sideways. Good god dam times.
