I have 4 open connectors on the passenger's side, and the one you mentioned on the driver's. The extra on my pass. side is a white one close to the others. One receptacle is plugged, another part of it isn't.

I don't think there's anything to worry about though. I found no unplugged wires in the area and the connectors there look to have never been used. With the profusion on electronics in the past 30 years, many manufacturers "overwire" a car for cost and assembly purposes, and also for dealer installed accessories to be plugged in later- there is often just one wiring harness for a vehicle, regardless of variant. Some of those pass. side connectors may be used in a RHD truck. Some may apply to a 105. Who knows? Well Toyota does, I guess...

I made a little bracket to mount my ScanGauge without drilling a hole into the dash. I went to Lowe's to get this piece of thin aluminium. It is soft enough that I can bend it using a plier. I have the ScanGauge mounted using double side tape. Easy enough to make, and I like the location. But, looking from outside the vehicle, the Scan Gauge seems to stick out, so not sure how I like that. I don't want someone to break into the car. It works for now and need to figure out a better way to route the cable.
