Here's pics of the old tacoma and the new 80...

Tacoma was sold to a neighbor and the 80 was bought from a local. It was the truck in the craigslist find thread. I had swooped it on the first day listed. Robert said he received no less than 20 calls a day!

From the ad...
"...white 1995 Toyota FJ80 Landcruiser with 193K on the clock. Lifted 1 inch with Performance Products springs, front has 2 inch total lift using Man-A-Fre 1 inch spring spacers. The extra front lift was to balance front because of ARB non-winch front bumper. Suspension also has Downy front and rear swaybars, caster blocks, Old Man Emu shocks and steering damper. Truck rolls on 16x8 American Racing Chamber wheels with Teflon coating, tires are BFGoodrich All Terrain TA's sized 285/75/16...tires are in good shape. Truck also has AirTek intake snorkle, and an Aussie Locker in the rear..."

I'm not in love w/ these wheels. Anybody wanna swap for a set of OEMs?

Also, the 60 is going bye, bye. Also available is a 94 TBI350, 700r4, 203, Mudrak 203/splitcase adapter, and a bunch of 40, 60, and soa parts.

Howdy! Are you selling the 350 TBI seperately, or does it have to stay with the rest of the driveline stuff? John

The motor is in a complete, running, 3/4 ton work truck (needs battery). It also has a 4l80e tranny and a 14 bolt rear (8-lug).

Everything can go separately. Let's talk...

Congrats!! my cousin was one of those calls...NICE pickup!!

Nice 80 - looks like a real clean unit.

Congrats

Thanks guys. I miss the Tacoma a little less every day. The wagon is very solid. I really like it. I knew one day I'd be in an 80...the timing turned out to be perfect.

I really want to take her up to Fossil Springs, but I have a hot date in Vegas the following week (Interbike). So, I'll probably have to postpone her maiden voyage a bit.

I kind of dig the wheels. If you want to swap, I will trade my stock lexus rims for them (only have 4). Drop me a PM if interested.

I like the Lexus wheel, but I'm still holding out for the FZJ wheel. If/when my wheels become available I'll give you a heads up 1st.

On another note, where are you guys getting your front disc rotors?

Also, in case some one has an extra set...I need some 3rd row seats (tan leather would match), but would consider any set. Cheap is good or I've got stuff to barter.

Viva la ochenta!

I have a set of grey leather ones if interested. PM Sent.

Yo Brian, I hope the FZJ80 is treating you well...she never let me down.

I still have all 5 wheels if you want them, I'll let you have them for cheap. I also have the spare frame that I need to get to you. Give me a call anytime.

Cheers,
Robert

Swap the black rims with those on the FJ60 and sell the 60 to me! LOL Not that the backspacing looks even remotely the similar.

Seriously...PM me about your 60

Handshake deal Robert?...Didn't Have any other trans but Tacoma?..Why Didn't you call me?...No hard feelings though! :D..I had a real hard time finding another fj80 cause I would compare everything to your old truck. But as it turned out I bought a 97 LX450 in Casa Grande that was real clean and bone stock. I'll Post the info later, and thanks to Robert's old rig I've got the bug bad for cruiser now. I always wanted one but now that I have one I seem to be spending alot of time on the forums..lol

Nice 80. I know a guy that can make some sliders for it.

I might be willing to trade. I just picked up a 80 series and have the stock wheels. Good shape.

Thanks, but I already sorted out the wheels. Although, I do need a complete set of factory lug nuts.
