Also can you enlighten me on the brand of lift you purchased?

Looks great!

That's a sweet front bumper,

I need to look at that over the ARB if I ever get the chance to drop some funds on a front bumper.

I sent a request for some mileage decals!

I've got the Ironman as well and can attest, it's top drawer quality. Very happy with mine.

I too would enjoy seeing the two side by side. I think for the group buy price (via here), it would be hard pressed to beat the quality.

Seen the email, replied, & sent the invoice bud. Can't wait to see them on snowwhite!!!!(sorry making up names for you're insanely clean rig)

This thread is a spiraling out of control disaster...much like my life. Heres some shots from a few months ago when I went down to Croatan National Forest, over to the Asheville area, then to my buddies in Alabama. This was also the trip I learned a VERY hard lesson. When coming out of camping for the night, I saw what appeared to me has just a puddle (in indiana). Apparently yalls puddle are slowly dug from hell upwards. This thing was SO dang deep....I hit it going a good 20mph to make sure if there was a root or something. I could hopefully clear it. Well. I hit a root and it slowed me down alot, I still had momentum. Until the dog hit the shifter and knocked me into neutral. HAHAHA.

Stuck. Im screwed...The water ended up getting inside the truck and I was able to keep it running. Had no cell service. Not a big enough shovel (+1 rookie move for me). When my buddies told me about the spot, they said to watch out for black bears. I had a AR with me and a handgun, both of which I agreed werent going to stay in my truck while I hiked out for phone service, ended up coming with me. About 2 miles into the 3 miles hike I got service and went FB live for a couple of my buddies from the area and they were able to send out help. It was pretty embarrassing...lol.

Once we got the truck out and let all the water drain out, sort of. I followed one of the people who pulled me out back to her house (yup a girl in a fjc got me). Where she let me totally strip my interior out, let it dry in her front yard, clean up myself, get some good food, and a good nights rest in my RTT in the front yard. It was much needed spirit lift. The trucks radio was acting funny. Amp would make a wine here and there, which is almost stopped to this day. (Think I will just replace it when I find one).

After that ordeal, I headed down to a buddies shop in SC. East Coast Mustangs, it was a 4hr drive from where I was in NC. Checked the difs and everything else, to our surprise. Everything was clean. Hung out there for a night and let our pups play and had pizza.

Then off the Sweethome Alabama. I say this because my buddy Drew lives there and does a AWESOME job of making me feel like I live there each time I come down. Not to mention hes got a pretty sweet tundra hes been working on over the past few years...

Blue Ridge Mountains...One of my favorite areas I have ever been. I never really have a plan when I go out, just roll with a rough sketch. Im working on changing that.

There was a reported storm coming in one night. I decided to AirBnB a cabin. SCORE!!! $20 for a night. Went to the local gas station, grabbed a couple 40s, some ravioli, doritos, & a snickers. That was my dinner. I had some beef jerky with me already. It didnt end up raining this night...but sitting out by the fire getting drunk alone was pretty soothing.

Nope...just a bunch of beer filled nights in a garage.

that trip to the mountains must have been in winter time. there are no leaves on the trees! Digging your truck OP.

What tent is on top if your LC,

Can I get a pic or two of how you mounted it to the stock roof rack?

Those wheels do look good on your darker color rig!

Looks to me like the CVT Mt. Thielsen Automatic tent.

It was a CVT Mt Thielsen. It was attached via rhino rack cross bars to the factory load bars. As that was the LOWEST setup I was able to figure out, next to a whole new rack. Which was out of the budget. This tent did start off as the auto version. When I got it, the motor wasnt working. So I stripped it and used it as the manual version. Loved it. I did some corner and brake testing as well with it...That was one of my fears. Braking really hard (if need be) and watching my RTT go flying off. I sold my RTT but kept the load bars for any future things I run up there as I was impressed with them that much.

It did get down into the 20's at night. But I kind of like it that way...Cold camping is easier for me. I get hot so easy.
