New to me 2013 LX 570!

Appreciate the feedback. Pretty much set on 18s based on what I’ve read, however I find the LX to be buttery smooth now, so can’t imagine more of a plush ride.

That was also one of my thoughts on the 20s was better performance for towing, but I’ve seen quite a few people tow with 18s.

Any noticeable difference freeway handling between the 18s and 20s? Obviously, tires play a huge role in that.
I think the 18” are better on the highway. Slightly smoother/quieter. I’m running KO2s on the 20’s in the summer and studded Nokian Hakka 7 in the 18’s in the winter.

Welcome to the family neighbor! You got the best color. Wish I found the dark interior when I bought mine.

I managed to the ACH fully flushed last week at a place in Tempe. No idea how they did it so cheap, but only $195. Only charged an hour labor even though it took two. They showed me the new bottles vs old tin can version fluids. Say they used 3 bottles.

Will definitely be using them in the future. If you are in the area, this is who I used.

Just FYI-
It takes 4-5 Liters to properly flush the fluid.
The silver cans are 2.5L (discontinued, but long shelf life) and the 1L are plastic.
The fluid alone would cost around $85.

Thanks. Hopefully I got what I paid for. I was specific and they seemed very knowledgeable about flushing it. It only says quantify 3, not specific to how many L, but if the old stuff I’m good any longer, maybe it wasn’t a full flush.

I lucked out! Waited a long time and had a search alert set. What time and tires are on yours? Pretty sure we did a pink jeep tour to that spot your at, but can’t remember the name.
Ordered these from Simple Tire. Local Firestone place installed them. I love the look. They are not noisy and perform well even when I don't air down. I have picked up a vibration that comes and goes at highway speeds but I think it a wheel balance problem not tire related.

Should the ACH system make noises from the right rear wheel well? I know that is where the reserve is. Ever since my ACH service, I’ve noticed noise upon exiting from there. That said, my auto park/lower feature seems to be working far more often since the flush.

Its possible I’m just paying more attention to noises now that I got it done, but on several occassions, a few seconds after exiting I hear noises and on a couple occasions, the rear lowered more after exiting the vehicle.

someone mentioned 4-5L are needed for a flush and my records showed 3 qty, so concerned about if it my possibly be low.

thanks for any advice.

The pump and reservoir are mated together and live behind the access panel at rear right side (passenger). I hear my pump all the time, sometimes even after I shut off the rig (as it continues to level as I walk away). It's slightly high pitched.

If you're curious about how well they flushed, you can take a sample from the front driver accumulator. Use a clear container and 1/4" tube (aquarium air hose will work) and bleed 5-6oz (half a topo chico bottle). The fluid should have a pink hue to it, not brown or black.

It's exactly like bleeding a brake caliper. 1/4 turn and fluid will start coming out. Make sure you're in N height, and that corner will begin to lower slowly as you bleed. Once you start the rig, the pump will replace the fluid and raise on its own.

Awesome, thank you!

sound like I don’t have anything to be worried about, pun intended. That’s what I’m hearing also. If I have any other concerns, I’ll run that test to ensure it’s pink, but they seemed pretty confident in knowing exactly how to do the full flush at all four corners.

One more newbie question. I noticed when in high setting in the driveway or in a parking lot, when I went forward and turned the wheel slightly, the front height lowered, but it still showed me as being in H. Is this an auto level feature, possibly?

I think so. It will only stay in high up to something like 10 -12 MPH and then it will put itself in Normal height. I am not sure if the dash will switch from H to N though.

It's 19mph.. the dash will show it dropping from hi to N.

If you're not going over 19, it's leveling out.

Turning the wheel enough will cause the angles to change enough to constitute a level

That makes sense then. Did happen the times I noticed most when turning the wheel. Thanks!

Hi... I'm thinking of doing the KO2's on my 20's as well. Do you have any pics I could see on how they look? Thanks!
