Hello all,

I am going to pick up my new-used 2006 100 tomorrow, and the only real outstanding issue is the DVD headrest is messed up and flopping around.

The seller said his kid went all crazy and tore it up....

The DvD player still works fine, but, the internal bracket is broken that keeps it on the pegs that goes into the seat back.

What do You all think I can fix this with successfully and correctly?

The manufacturer of those units is invision. Call them and see if they can get you the parts. It is common for those things to break because kids a rough on them.

Ok, wanted to update on this....

Invision no longer carries the headrest or parts for the headrest adjusment internal bracketry if Your DVD unit only has one wire plugging into it.

They still carry the internal bracketry for an adjustable headrest system if your DVD player has two wires.

My unit only had one wire DVD systems.

Had a friend in town look at these and fixed them both for $50 total

Both Dvd players work great, and the headrests are now in a fixed angle position, but their height can be raised and lowered as normal.

What did he do to fix them?

From what he said, he had to remove the staples holding the vinyl headrest material from the internal plastic frame assembly, remove the cover. He was then able to secure several bolts into the assembly on both sides at one set position, he then reinstalled the vinyl cover and stapled it to the frame assembly where it was originally installed.

Sorry I didn't get any pics of the process, I was only in the shop for 5 minutes when he wanted to know what position would work best for me.

Apparently, the Invision adjustable headrest system was not a good design for the bracket internally that allows adjustment.

The DVD players are good quality and work well, and now that they are in a fixed position, will hopefully hold up for the life of the rig.
