Hello folks, suppose it's time I subscribe to yet another forum. I'm an FJ40 wheeler now for about 4 years or so and have covered most of the good spots here in central east coast.
Let's see if I do this right,,,, here's a pic of my Toy.
It's a 73, stock engine, with SM465, RockBox, and 3pd t/c. Front axle has Bobby Long's 30 spline shafts and birfields, stock third member with a Lockrite. Rear is stock with a Lockrite. The lift is a simple SOA and both axle springs shackle-reversed for added wheel base. Steering is a Scout box with 4X4 Labs' steering arms. Tires are 37 SSRs. That's about the heart of it...
Now, I may have to jump down to the FJC forum and introduce myself there. Got one of them too and it's a mild work-in-progress.
