Hello everyone
Thanks for the opportunity to join this great forum.
I own a white 04 LX470 and love the thing so far. I have owned it for a few months and have resurched and read a great deal of things on this forum so i figured I might as well join it, so I can hopefully contribute like all of you.
I have been into cars for a long time with most of my focus going to my 1997 Eclipse GSX that I have been building for the past 15 years. It is a 2.0L turbo that makes 793hp and is primarily used for drag racing.
The LX will be my new weekend adventure mobile. So far I have changed out the stock wheels and tires for some tundra wheels and tires adding some Bora wheel spacers for a little more aggressive stance. I also added some Escape Gear seat covers which I love. The last and most recent addition was a sleeping / drawer platform for car camping. This all came after making sure all scheduled / needed maintenance was done.

793 HP out of a 2L turbo? Damn. I would imagine your 04 100 series feels a little less responsive 🤣
Welcome to the forum

I haven’t seen one of those Eclipses in a long time here in Illinois. They seem to all have rotted out up here with all the salt.

I actually work a couple of minutes away from a local shop in Hoffman Estates called “Boostin Performance” that has the “Red Demon” DSM. It’s a manual car that traps over 200mph on the 1/4 mile. They always bring out some fast cars to the local drag strip in Wisconsin. Crazy stuff those little cars can do. By the way, congrats on the LX!

Boosting Performance is very well known in the DSM community. The Red Demon is a super cool car and will most likely be the first H pattern manual AWD car to run a 6 second 1/4 mile. Which is just ridiculous!!!!

Looks great! Just got myself an 02. Few questions

What size tires and rims did you go with ?
What size wheel spacers ? Any rubbing ?
Lastly how did you paint the grill and logos and how is it holding up?

My tires are 285/65R18 with 1.25 spacers. They do not rub at all so far. And I painted everything with black plasti dip to see if I liked it. It has held up ok so far but I am going to be taking it off and painting them with real paint soon I think.
