New to Mud

Hey guys...

I live in Peoria, AZ and looking for some others to start making trail runs with. I just got back into wheeling, and all of the old local trails have been built on.

85' 4runner
EFI
5.29's & Locked F/R
4.7:1 T-case
30 spline Longfields
Cross-over kit
Rock sliders
Chevy springs in the rear
35's on beadlocks
etc...

Welcome~

Watch for random posts for local wheeling trips on this forum. I'm sure there will be several coming up now that the weather is finally starting to cool

Ill get some up tonight.

Howdy! I've done Crown King with both clubs last month. It's a popular run, and I'm sure it will get scheduled again soon. 2x on the pix. Sounds like your a couple of steps ahead of me on my 85 mini. John

Well its been about 8 years since I have had a Yota'. My first truck in highschool was an 83'...boy I miss that truck. Then I got into the back into the R/C scene, then real racing/drifting scene. I ended up trading my fully built track 95' 240sx for a 99' TRD tacoma. Then I got back into the r/c scene. I was looking to devoting all my time to R/C again and picking up sponsors, but between the wife, college and work...it wasnt in the cards. Well I ended up stumbling on the 4runner on CL. The kid had no idea how capable the truck was. I offered him all my RC stuff for it and he took it. Just like any other vehicle, there were things that needed to be attended to and some jerry-rigging removed. I have tons of plans and ideas for it, I figured the deal was amazing and a perfect platform. I already have taken it out for some little tests over by the flumes on Jomax...made my 83' look like a corolla. LOL

Not to split hairs but the accepted short version of "www.iH8mud.com" is "Mud"...

Go about your business :flipoff2:

And Welcome to our little hole in the interweb.

Not by that name. Where's that at? Seems like I've heard of it long long time ago. John

Well you would take Jomax road west (by Lake Pleasant PKWY) toward the flumes...make a right under the second flume and follow that ALL THE WAY out to nowhere and it was the only white rock mountain out there.

With directions like that you'll fit right in here.

Not sure if anyone is interested...Couple friends and myself are heading to the Crown King Trail on saturday morning.

Try starting a new thread. You'll get more attention.:hhmm:

I wanted too, but didnt want to take the chance of it considering im a noob and would most likely get flamed. Thanks.
Step right up, jump right in. Hit that New Thread button and go for it. Watch out for traffic jams in the last mile or so below the Oro Bell. We got stuck behind a bunch of UTVs up there. They kept high centering, and they just didn't understand about stacking rocks and getting out of other folks way. John

If you post in this forum, you'll get flamed, its unavoidable. Just wear it like a badge of honor. Most of us are full of it anyway.....Go ahead and start the new thread.

Last time I was there I caused the jam lol. I had to stopped in my 83' waiting for a buddy and altitude got the best of the stock Aisin. After that incident, a Weber was installed.
