Hi y’all! After being semi active on the FJ62 mud threads for a bit, I decided to dump my current daily (pm me if anyone wants to buy a V70R) and also join over here and grabbed this 03 GX that I have dubbed Blucifer! Immediately took it camping and slept great in the back with the second row out. Loved every minute of my 10 hours on the highway as well - this thing is comfortable to drive distances. My MPG wasn’t even that bad (20 on highway) as my research told me it was!
My question is has anyone attached a bat wing awning to their stock bars and if so how did you do it? Found a deal on one and want to grab it but don’t want to buy a whole new rack. Thanks in advance for any advice and brackets that might be needed. Happy to be part of Club GX!

Not on the stock crossbars, but I was able to install my Batwing Compact using their Pioneer Rack mounts on a set of LFD off-road crossbars. I drilled an extra hole into the mount and made a large square washer to back up the nuts underneath the crossbar.

I know the rago fab awning brackets dont work with the rhino batwing.....but people have used the gamiviti multi brackets with the batwing.

The link below shows a few different configurations. near the bottom of the page they talk about the rhino wing and what hardware is needed.

Sweet! Thanks @Tanner H. Just messaged Gamiviti to ask about the compatibility. Also read through that 9 page stock bar discussion you are in
