Hello. Longtime 4Runner owner here in the Austin area, emerging interest in crawling over the past few years. Went to HF Sunday to check it out for first time. Did a few Level 1's, all but one Level 2 (Test Tube was a bit too muddy for me to make it with my tires), and a couple of Level 3's.

Anyway, I was just w/my 6yo daughter who helped with the winch, but I would be interested in hooking up with another 4x4 for a crack at some more of the 3's some weekend soon (2/27 or 2/28 looks good for me).

We're in a 2008 4Runner SR5 V8 w/lift, ~33's, winch, air, lockers, and some unintended mods to sidesteps ;)

Looking at the pics on the HF web site, I am guessing most of the 4's are out of reach for us (clearance), so someone willing to hang back on some 3's would be a better fit. That said, I'm also open to watching someone show me how it's done on the harder trails and can offer assistance as spotter and/or winch support as needed if you want to do some of the harder ones.

Looking forward to learning more here,
Snowy

cool man ... i love showing the newbies around hidden falls ...especially when they are white knuckled and need to change their underwear after i showed them how to get their rig through something they would have never dreamed of doing ...haha...unfortunatly my rig will be down for a few more months but you should swing by edwins shop this weekend to shoot the breeze and meet some of the crew

I'll bring extra underwear just in case. :))
Wrench day sounds great, but I have activity w/my son in the morning, probably until after 1pm. Sounds like you guys will be winding down about then, but I may swing by to say hey afterwards depending on how long it runs.

Thanks,
Snowy
