Hey all, new to the forum, looking forward to learning all about Toyotas and the 1st Gen Sequoia.

I was looking for a long-lasting SUV when I came across the infamous 2UZ-FE engine. And after searching a few months, I purchased my first ever Toyota this summer--a 2001 Sequoia Limited 4x4 with 127k, white with tan interior, no rust, clean title, 3" lift, and matteblack 17" TRW rims on 285/70/17 BF Goodrich TKOs.

I've already replaced the normal front suspension components (UBJ, LBJ, struts, etc.), converted all lights to LED, and plan to replace all the speakers and stereo, add a backup camera, and a custom build stealth sub in the coming months.

Nice Sequoia. Good to see that you've already done the LBJs. I assume TB/WP has already been replaced? Based upon your photos, your radiator plastic looks brown as opposed to black, so that should be replaced as preventative maintenance to avoid the pink milkshake. This occurs when transmission cooler integrated into the radiator fails and coolant mixes with your transmission fluid which smokes the transmission. Also check power steering fluid and brake fluid reservoirs which likely need to be serviced based upon the photos.

Yes, the TB/WP were replaced around 118k miles, and thanks for the radiator info--I'll add that to my list of things to replace. I do plan to replace all the fluids in the near future as well (brake, power steering, differential, etc).
