Look around... could not find the 37 flavor for a 16in rim... Do they make this size for our stock rims?

These are at the top of my list. The ST Maxx or STT Pro. I will decide in the next few hours. I know a lot of guys out wast in WY/MT that are using the ST Maxx with great results. I think you will be really happy with them. I would go with them no questions if it weren't for the fact that i hear the STT Pro is better in the mud with only a little more road noise and maybe less long term mileage durability. But STT Pro is supposed to be REALLY civilized on road. So i am very tempted to go STT Pro.

If you do get the STT Pros, keep me updated on what you think of them. A jeeper friend of mine who used to swear by KM2s now swears by the Pros. However, everything is relative and several different tires would sound quiet compared to KM2s.

I just came back from a three day camping and riding trip, and so far I'm really impressed with the S/T Maxx tires. The trip each way was over an hour and a half at mostly 55 and 65 mph, and the tires' highway manners are just like street tires. I found out, when I went to air down during our second day of riding, that the shop that installed them set the tire pressure at 40 psi. I aired down to almost 20 psi and drove them that way from mid-day Sunday to Monday afternoon, on the trail and the pavement. I aired up to 45 psi for the ride home.

As far as how they are off-road, here's a (poor quality) video of a hill climb I did on the first day, with the tire pressure still at 40 psi. Granted, we haven't had a lot of rain, so the soil was pretty dry and compacted. I'm still waiting to see how they will handle muddy conditions.

And, coming back down the hill.

There is currently a sale at Discount Tires Direct on ebay. $100 off any order over $400. I got two orders of 2 S/T Maxx LT285/75R16 tires for $376/pair with free shipping. Other sizes and brands are also on sale.
It's a limited time offer until supplies last.
