They're 33x10.50 KM1's...

Bought them used (only 1K miles) from a guy in Charleston, and Greg's gnomes shipped them up to me!

These are Maxxis Creepy Crawlers. I got them from a guy near Denver. 37x12.5x16. About 60-70% tread. 5 are competition compound "stickies" and the fifth is regular compound. Looking forward to tweaking the bumper, steering, and bump stops to get her back on the trails.

Jerry, I'll bring your tires and wheels by very soon so we can get the expo trailer off of jackstands :D Thanks for letting me keep them so long while my wheels were on backorder!

Dozer is looking very nice.

I like the way ur front axle came out too. I am most definatly goin to do mine the same way.

Looks really good!

Thanks Greg, RK, et al,

RK - have you any opinion on the Maxxis CCers? The friggin' sidewalls on these puppies are crazy thick. I'm guessing w/ 12.5s on 8" wheels, I can run somewhere in the 6-8psi range w/o beadlocks (those will come in the next year or so).

They have almost always come in first in off road traction in just about every comparo i've seen of them. About 90% of the comp rigs in Oz rum em which I would say is a pretty good endorsement.

Yeah, I definitely did my homework before shelling out some major (to me) coin. I just am curious if RK had any buddies running them for East Coast wheeling. I know they shine in the rocks.

I would have gone with the Trepadors if I could have found a decent deal on stickies in 37s. They are really hot right now and get snagged up super quick. Plus, most of the deals were west coast and there is such a market for good used crawler tires, most people won't mess with shipping.

I wish there was more out there, but tire brands are like car manufacturers, lot's of really polarized opinions out there.

I don't have any personal experience with the Creepy Crawlers. Most of the guys I know that compete run Krawlers, Trepadors, or Kevlar MTRs. But I have not heard anything negative about the CCers.

I'm looking forward to seeing how they perform on your rig!
