Been on the Land Cruiser side of things for a long while and bought a 2002 Tacoma SR5 4x4 as a shop truck for our parts business. Since we sell Harrop ELockers for Mini Trucks, Tacos, etc. it seemed right that we own one!

Bought it from the original owner - a young lady's high school graduation gift from a loving dad as she headed off to college. She decided a 2016 4Runner TRD was needed (and her boyfriend has an '02 quad cab) so I got myself a cream puff - 193,000 highway miles (she worked in hospitals in Las Vegas, San Diego and Florida) - lots of long trips and no apparent offroading.

Pretty sweet rig. All service up to date and documented.

Here it is at purchase....working on some small mods and some vinyl to promote the business....

Thanks. Yes, the images, text and type font are draft/placeholders for now. The vehicle wrap folks have some wicked mad skills so they won't let me screw it up :)

Nice find! I have a 2000 TRD truck very similar to yours. Mine has the E-locker in the back. Did Harrop manufacture them? It is my secret weapon on the trails!

Hey - Thanks!

As I understand it, Earon supplied the OEM TRD ELockers with design input from Harrop.

If anyone out there has any reliable info to confirm or correct that I would appreciate it.

For the current offering, Harrop is a regional aftermarket partner with Eaton, as they took the design and gears sourced from Eaton and adapted them for a range of Australian market vehicles, lisenced by Eaton.

We are in the process of rolling out a new retail website for th Harrops to suit most Offroad Toyotas.

See below for a list of available Harrops for North American rigs and stand by for more info so you can elock the other end!

And you thought selling your car and changing forums would lose me..HA :poof: ......Me and the boys are still waiting for our stickers ;)

On a serious note if your service, technical support and association with specialist re sellers and installation shops is anything like what you offer your old 70 series pals then the Tacoma/ 4 runner guys are very lucky.
Sorry to see you leave us 70s guy but all the best.

WTF Billy, you stalkin' me? :)

Good to hear from ya. I haven't left the 70s - still have a FJ75 in the barn!

As for the stickers - we have a box of them but the marketing staff isn't very swift (that would be me). Sweet little items as shown below - free if you send a postal address.

I appreciate note -need to get the word out to our friends.

Cheers, mate!
