I think I finally found a great wheel and tire combo for my truck. Very happy right now.

About six months ago I bought a set of 20" Black XDs with Terra Grapplers but I was never really happy with the look or the handling. I ended up selling them and put my old Tundra alloys back on while looking for a replacement.

Yesterday I finally installed my new (to me) TRD Rockwarrior wheels with new Michelin LTX AT2s in 285-70-17 LR D. I think it came out great. What do you guys think?

I like it! And I'm not a fan if most aftermarket wheels. (Are TRD wheels really "aftermarket"?). The AT2's are great, too.

I like those wheels. More pics without the shadows if possible. Did you use spacers or machine the centers?

By request, more pics. Also, I used 1.25" spacers front and rear from Just Differentials. Good stuff. I have the 10mm slip on spacers as well but I like the look with the JD spacers better. Anyone need 10mm slip on spacers? $105 shipped (same as what I paid).

Ride is very comfortable and feels like I'm in a dessert racer. Minor shimmy above 60mph so I might ask Costco to rebalance. I hope it's not because of the spacers.

My rockwarrior wheels and same spacers are smooth as silk past 85. Definitely go for a re-balance.

Tires look great. i want to replace my e rated bfgs. Too heavy and stiff .....

Good to know. I will have the wheels rebalanced.

I can imagine those tires are pretty heavy. My LTX AT/2s are D rated and pretty comfy at 30/35 psi.

I had some Terra Grapplers on the XD wheels I sold and I think they were actually more quiet than the Michelins. I can definitely hear a "whoosh" coming from the LTX AT2s that was not there before.

It looks much warmer and sunnier where you live. Those rims look good too.

Few questions. What did wheels and tires cost? Why did you need the spacers? Looks good.

Rims, tires and spacers came to about $2300

You need the spacers because these rims will not clear the 100's massive front hubs without them. You don't need spacers for the rear but I wanted the track to match.

Question for other Michelin LTX AT2 users: Are you hearing a low whine / howl coming from the tires - even at low speeds around 25mph? I am surprised that these Michelins are quite a bit louder than Nitto Terra Grapplers.
