any ability to get a measurement of the space underneath? I saw one photo of these seats in another FJ that the bottom lifted up to access the space under, do yours do that or is that just a specific version? I am 90% certain I'll be going this route, but also want to plan ahead to make sure I know what I'll be working with and what can/can't be hidden under.

the seats look phenomenal btw, and jumping out of my GX and into the 80 I definitely can feel the need for a bit more leg room on longer trips

Could you be so kind as to measure the center of the front bolt hole to the top of the bracket, and from that surface to the top of the slider, please? If I'm not mistaken, the Planted bracket does not include the sliders... so what sliders are you using?

The ones that come with the seat

I went out and measured mine and it looks to be about 2.5” of clearance.

Thanks, guys!
I did close to 1500 miles last week in 4 days in the seats and my back never bothered me. Earlier this summer i did 4 trips to mammoth 350 miles from my home and the stock seats nearly wrecked me each time.

I definitely need new seats, too. I feel like I'm sitting on a bucket after a half a day in the stock ones, and theyre too high. Not convinced I want to spend $2k on these, though, and I have a favored seat i want to try to retrofit... hence the questions.

Having a longer seat base to support under your thighs, combined with good legroom makes a huge difference to comfort on longer drives.

I used Audi seats, and I think the biggest improvement in comfort comes from having an adjustable seat base. Angle, height, and length of base is adjustable
