Nice job guys- I was hopin' to make a show but got derailed. Found my DD has a leaky rear axle seal..

Glad the great white will be on the road again!

Did our I-5 travelers have any issues?

Danny was delayed a couple hours by an accident a few miles north of Redding, eventually bypassing it and making a brief appearance at Jesse's before our 3 fully operable rides caravanned to my home. Felt so good to be behind the wheel again. Good friends are being made and good times had. Thanks to all who made it possible. You All Rock!!

It will be a pleasure to visit the DMV and renew my rigs "status" with the State!

Glad to see your 62 on the road again.

Time to become a full JSC member now ;)

I made it to m stop in Cottage Grove with no issues.
I'll say it again for Chris
You guys ROCK!

Ah, just what I figured. My cruiser has made several runs around town and on the freeway and seems to be adjusting well to it's new found energy and vitality. A fresh tank of gas, a load of groceries from the store and she has rightly re-assumed her role as the dominant vehicle in the Driveway! One minivan trapped inside the garage and the other mini parked on the side of the house-hidden from view. :p:D As well it should be in the natural world.

Awesome... did you ever check/top off the fluids? Also we never did check if there was gear oil in the transfercase.

No I haven't checked the levels yet. I'll do that tomorrow after work. The T-case I completely forgot about. Last I remember someone was trying to figure out where the access hole was but never finished that. I need to prepare a place to keep that old tranny. Hope you can hang onto it till I return from the long weekend coming up. Thanks Jesse.

Copy that, hey Nick, the latest location of my cruiser is :crybaby: broke down in the Harbor freight parking lot! :crybaby:

OK, so look back a few posts where Jesse asks me if I checked the Tranny levels and he also asked about the T-case. Remember we never checked the T-case for oil??? Hmmm.... well, the T-case now sounds like a box of rocks. Any guesses on what happenned? God, I hope it's only the T-case, so I(we, you guys:p) can take the one off my old tranny and solve the problem. Then you can take turns slapping me around and saying things like"how could you be so stupid?" Huh gnob? Oh well, off to Cali in a minivan with chains. Jesse I'm so sorry you had to come out in the rain like that after work. I'm gonna owe you big time when this is over. We'll figure it out when I get back. :frown:
