I'm getting new rock sliders for my FJ to replace the OEM ones. I want something like the wide 4+Plus sliders sold by man-a-fre but they only come in a glossy finish. I want a wrinkle finish powdercoat and I can't get them in bare metal to get a custom powdercoat. I also really like these

It would be nice to have something that protects that rear quarter panel. I guess you wouldn't be able to open the suicide doors.....maybe a bolt on addition? Anyhow, Who all makes sliders for the FJ. Who do you think makes the best sliders in terms of function and aesthetics.

I just talked to Bud from Budbuilt. He is finishing up his new sliders as we speak. He said he will have two versions and will try to have pics up on wed.

I am really happy with the Demello rock sliders. Very easy install and they are tough. I can lift the side of my FJ with the Hi-Lift jack in the middle of the slider...that is strong. They stick far enough to act as a step but not too far as to get in the way. I really like the spacing near the tires also..evenly spaced. They also have the finish that you want. Hope this helps.

possibly. I was thinking about keeping them as a set to really use and beat up and then to keep the wider ones looking nice and new. There is VERY slight damage to the passenger side slider at the very rear of the outer bar. Once I figure out how to post pics on this forum, I'll show you a pic of the damage so you can see if you are still interested. It is really hardly visible. I didn't even notice it until the insurance adjuster had a look. I have a friend who is very computer literate, unlike myself, who is going to help me post pics. I should have them up soon. Shoot me an e-mail at jacobslmn@yahoo.com and we can talk. I can e-mail you pics right away.

I just got the first pair of rockrails by Budbuilt. They look just like the allpro sliders. They are really nice. I went with the Black textured powdercoat; it is similar to the OEM finish. You can have them done in glossy, matte, or textured in any color.

How about Demello?

I commend your courage on the Red sliders. I almost went with red for my budbuilt rails. Chickened out at the last minute. Those look nice and beefy.
