New River Gorge Camping in WV

Anyone ever been?

I'm leaving tomorrow morning with a couple of friends, and coming back sunday... not sure what to expect. I've never even heard of it.

My buddy who brought up the idea is an expert rock climber, so I'm guessing there's some nice cliffs and stuff. He is bringing all his climbing gear, and he has an LC. I'll be sure to take some pics.
Just wondering if anyone has any insight on what this place is like.

you'all like it up there, plenty of back roads and rual unpaved roads to explore. it's been 15+ years since i have been up there, but i doubt it has changed much. if you see a curve with a 15mph sign, SLOW down for it, anything else is just fun.

haha yeah, thanks there is some TIGHT turns.

We did alot of rock climbing, i feel like ive been lifting weights for 24 hrs straight. I'm a little out of shape haha
