Well it only took 15hrs round trip from Tucson to Albuquerque and back but we managed. It was a deal too good to pass up.

It's a 2000 with 254k runs great with no leaks. There is a little bit of damage to the pass rear quarter panel but nothing that cannot be fixed.

Pretty much going to leave it stock til I find a LX470 (what she really wants) then this baby is getting chopped up and getting a solid axle swap and either a Cummins or LS conversion. :)

Looking forward to the build!!
Yes it will be eventful for sure. Will probably do the sas first then the drivetrain. Still on the fence on which front differential to run but have some ideas

which cummins are you considering?

Somebody find the man an LX470 so we can get this build started - looking forward to seeing this tranformation in the future

If I go diesel it will get a 6bt for sure, it has plenty of room. On the hunt now for a Pearl White 470 for the wife. Mean time she will drive this LC. For the 4.7L I'm thinking of putting it in my LX450. I transplanted the 6.0L and transmission into another customers rig in anticipation of installing the 6bt. But I have bigger plans :). Shouldn't have any issues selling the Lexus then to a purist haha...
