New Rear Pads, Still getting some brake Pad Smell?

About 700 miles ago I installed, new rear pads. I am still getting some brake pad smell. It drives great and brakes better than ever. There is no drag and no squel.

Any ideas.

What type of pads did you use?

I am assuming you used Toyota pads. I just did my rears 3 nights ago and I don't notice any smell. I park it in a small garage right when I get home, too.

After market pads. Yikes. However I believe I forgot to seat them. I did that yesterday afternoon and now the smell is pretty much gone. I did not think you had to seat rear pads but it seems to have helped.
