new Prez Edwin K
new VP Jason D (congrats Jason i think:>)
well thanks guys for voting me in tonight (even if i won by a coin toss) as your new President. i hope it works out for every one. i will do my best to make ya'll happy and get new faces in and come back to all the meetings. there are a few things i would like to see happen as a club.
1st
i think it would be cool if we could start an annual wheeling/BBQ/camping event that WE as a club host. i can try and get sponsors to donate prizes. as a club we can invite our friends & family to come out and enjoy what we like to do & maybe get some new faces involved with the LSLC club. i see alot of cruiser owners every day and tell them about the club. but when they ask me if we do any kind of outing as a club. i can only tell them about the round up. i think if we could tell more toyota owner that we do an event as a club there might be more involvement & in return make a bigger club.
at the next meeting i would like to talk more about this & see if ya'll are up for hosting an event / doing more outings as a club. we did one last year and i felt like it went good. we had guys show up that never go to our meetings or maybe have been once but like toyotas as much as we do.
2nd
I hope to bring new info to all the club meetings (talk about events coming & passed, or just a Q&A thing). so we can have things to talk about as a club. i know there have been times that we have tryed to get the ball rolling on thing like that but it fell short. i will try and keep it going and be more helpfull. we used to do things like this back when we started the club and i think it kept more folks coming back time after time.
on a side note i need to get this out there
as ya'll all know what i do for a living. i want ya'll to know. i don't want any one to think i took this job to help promote what i do for a living. like in the passed i will not talk about what i do or try and promote my shop in any way.
now i don't mind talking with someone on the side about a problem there having with there truck or give them a suggestions on how to fix there truck. i will not seek folks out to tell them about what i do.
once again thanks and i hope we can make the club stronger and more fun for all.
