Hey NC folks - I am new to the area, and wanted to give a quick intro.

We picked up the family and moved from Las Vegas last summer and settled in the North Raleigh area. I've got a 'close to' stock 1976 pig that I'm gradually working on - somewhat outdated thread is here:

I'm looking to get involved - when are you guys meeting up in the Raleigh/Durham area? I'd love to meet some more mudders in the area and get some input first hand on a couple things I'm working on with my truck.

We try to have a regular meeting the first week of the month, typically, its been at Tyler's Taproom in Apex (Beaver Creek Commons).

I'm planning on hosting a HAMOM at my house in Cary in Jan (looking like Jan 21), hoping to do an axle swap on my 80 and help a few others build tire swing outs for the bumpers.

Post up what you are thinking about and you'll get plenty of feedback from this crowd...
 
Nice, always good to have another piggy in the group. Everyone here seems to be getting rid of theirs...

Definately the most fun cruiser of the lot to drive around in!
Seems the capitol city is attracting them like well pigs to poop. whats that 4 now in RDU and one down in Raeford

We need to meet up before the end of the year to the get the pigs together. I bought Jason's (jfz80) piggy and have been getting it road ready. I'll be moving to Morehead City the first of the year so one less pig in the area but we got to spread them out to share the love!

Welcome Mars, cool Pig. THe more I look at them the more I think I want one. Heather would kill me if I bought a pig before an 80, she is really wanting an 80.

I will be living in Beaufort and working for the Division of Coastal Mangement in MHC. I don't know a soul down there so meeting some cruiser folks will be great!
