Hey gang, thought you'd like to see a few photos of my 60 with it's
new aux lights. Thanks for all the help in regards to the restoration of this rig!

Your 60 is looking great Jeff!

nice. I've been running 520's for my last 3 vehicles and they really help

Thanks Dave! Glad to see you back at Mud. Haven't seen any posts from you in a while.
Hope your 60 is coming along well. I'm hoping to get up to Oakhurst soon! Merry Christmas!

The rebuilt 2F is running great, look for my write up here shortly. I will be installing my OME w/ shackle lift hopefully this next weekend. Come Jan. or Feb. and we'll get some folks together for a real snow run. We went up in the fresh stuff on Friday, it was beautiful. Shoot me a pm when you may come up you'd be welcome to stop by. Happy holidays...

Sounds great Dave. I'd love to do a snow run sometime. All the best!

Did you go with the fog, driving or pencil beams?

BTW, thanks for the post. I have a silver '85 and will also be curious to see the lift. I'll be doing OME or HFS when I do mine...

I like em! But I might be inclined to remove the PIAA letters off the light. Why would they block the light with such large letters?

Thanks Austin. My rig already had an Iron lift installed in it when I bought it. If it hadn't, I would have installed an OME medium set-up like a friend of mine has. So far I don't have a problem with it and am quite happy with the ride. I went with the driving beams. I can't get over how powerful they are. I have a set of 520 series
amber fogs on my Tacoma and I wanted something different for the 60. The light has a blue tint. I
adjusted them to blend/aid my headlights. Driving into traffic nobody seems to be annoyed. Perfect
for those dark nights up in the Sierras. The fog version offers more lateral light. Maybe I should have gone with the fog beam...Definately NOT the pencil beams. Thanks Brown Bear! I don't think the letters
are having too much impact hindering these flame throwers.

oh I'm sure they are bright. If you look at the PIAA website they have lights like this with solid letter and some with hallow letters..... wonder they would do that?

If they light up the road fully I doubt too that the letters block anything.... they look sweet IMOP

You raise a good question Brownbear. I think it all boils down to advertising. PIAA is promoting itself pretty effectively with those large letters.

I am happy with my 520's......nice rig btw.

That is a nice looking cruiser. I like the lights on the stock bumper.

Thanks again guys! Amazing what a little body work and a new paint job will do. I found this rig for sale on Mud last year. The strange thing is that I actually knew the PO, I just didn't know he had a 60
and he and the vehicle we living 2 blocks away from me! The power of the internet can I guess.
