Hey guys! We just purchased a 2006 GX470 for my lady! Super excited to finally have one! (her dream vehicle) We recently totaled our Camry, a 18-wheeler wheel came off and smacked it going down the interstate at around 75mph. So at that point we decided to go ahead and hunt her down a GX. Found one locally from a individual seller (super nice guy) it was taken care of really well! But it is time for the timing belt and water pump work to be done, just curious is this kit from amazon legit? Ill also add some photos of the GX and the wrecked Camry! WE are excited to be apart of the community

You should check out the Aisin kit -- much cheaper. I've not used this kit myself, but I've heard/read that Aisin is the manufacturer/supplier for OEM Toyota/Lexus parts.

I second the AISIN TKT-021 kit. It’s what I put in my GX based on recommendation from many 2UZ owners. I know lots of 4Runner, sequoia, tundra and LC guys use it with confidence.

Sorry to hear about the accident but it sounds like everyone was ok and your lady had an excuse to get a GX so I guess it all worked out.

Those look like some aftermarket projector headlights if I’m not mistaken. Any idea what they are specifically? They sure look pretty nice to me!

Thanks for info! No one was hurt, thankfully! So it worked out for the better. And the guy that had it before us broke the factory headlights apart and then painted them and resealed them and put in a HID kid from XENONDEPOT - HID & LED Lighting Products So its still using the OEM projectors.

i bought the aisin kit on amazon and installed it.
i highly recommend it.

add to that a tube of toyota fipg black
and make sure you buy the fan pulley bracket.
aisin also makes this.
your clutch fan bolts to this pulley and your ac compressor bolts to this bracket.
also consider replacing your serpentine belt and tensioners and idler pulley while you are in there.

its also a good time to replace the radiator, thermostat and radiator hoses.

if you input what vehicle you have on amazon it may say some of these parts will not fit your lexus but they 100% will. im copy pasting from my amazon account and installed all of these. for example the part number may be assoicated with a v8 4 runner or v8 toyota sequoia

missing from this list is the very long serpentine belt. i couldnt find it online so i bought at the local lexus dealer. and some long life factory coolant.
