My leak is from the glass gasket, the black trim pieces pop off, on the aft end of the sunroof there is a seam in the glass gasket. When it rains I have a drip that develops at the seam.

The sunroof unbolts from the slider mech, I plan on when time permits cleaning it up and us a syringe to shoot some silicone adhesive from the top.
Currently I have some short strip of waterproof tape, over it.

Another poster here on MUD said its a 30 minute or so job to replace the gasket . He was either lucky, exaggerating or just crazy. Between cure times on the new adhesive and general reinstall it takes a lot longer. You may also want to check the rear sunroof drains also.

By the way,if you ever replace the gasket you need to be very careful with the fitment of the new gasket on the sunroof glass/frame. if its off a couple 16ths all around getting it back in the opening is a major sufferfest
