I just picked up this 2001 LX470 a few months back. Finally saved up the money for new tires (BFG AT 285/75/16's). Running boards coming off today. Then time to save up money for sliders. I am thinking white knuckle. Already benefited greatly from this 100 board. Thanks!

Congrats!
You will enjoy it!
Some of my personal favorite upgrades is the Climite Control. Set it at 75° (or whatever) and never dink with heater controls again! Also the Seat Heaters!! Especially when we're up in Lake Tahoe over the Christmas Holidays. (I know... I can't complain too much living in So Cal., but someone has to suffer :p)

I needed the extra power to tow a small camper, but I think my whole family will enjoy the comforts. Tried doing it in the 80 and it just wasn't practical. I miss my 80, but sold it to my brother in law so at least it is still in the family!

Congrats on the purchase. I don't think you will be disappointed at all!

Running boards gone. Bolted on some cheap front mud flaps while I save up for sliders. Had a great time riding up to Iron Mine Lake in the Uintas last weekend. Bumpy road, but not really challenging. Looking forward to some rougher rides in the future.
