Long time lurker and currently own a 100 series and GX 470. Oldest is going to be driving soon and going to pass the 100 down to him and used it as a reason to get into a 200. Searched for a while and struggled to find a reasonable on in So Cal that didn’t have a ton of owners and was brought in to flip. Found this one in TN that was a two owner rig. Full service records and price was right. Some rust to tackle from a salt flats trip, but should be relatively easy to clean up. Absolutely love it so far, and feels like a solid upgrade and refinement from the 100.

Tip: get some Diode Dynamic fog lights. They are having a 30% off sale right now and they should be plug and play for LX.
 
You’re in luck @TeCKis300 the LX oracle is also a local. A bunch of us other 200 weirdos are around town so don’t be afraid to ask questions!

Perfect, already need help with coolant. Was low when it came off the transport truck. Threw some coolant in and went low again. No leaks or smell, and saw the cap doesn’t have the rubber seal.

You definitely want the gasket under the cap (16405-50080) but most likely the valley plate leak.

I assume the radiator isn't cracked up top either?

Thread 'Kind of "Mystery" Coolant leak back of engine (heat exchanger valley leak)'

Hey guys, I had another thread going on on my 09 Lx puking out coolant from what I thought was the waterpump.. But after taking wheels off and a bunch of other plastic crap off of the front of engine (more than I want to remember) waterpump area is completely dry and is coolant drip free (no pink crap anywhere). It seems that all the dripping of coolant is from passenger side control arm back.. there's a lot! After further inspection I seen that the dripping starts from top of tranny hump all the way in the back of motor... There are a bunch of coolant and heater hoses rubber and metal...

I’ll try the cap first and definitely take it in to my mechanic and scope out for the valley plate leak. No other visible signs of a coolant leak anywhere else.

Did a little 140 mile trip out to Palm Springs. Drove like a dream with no issues. Coolant was still full.
Checked multiple times.
