New o2 sensor=CEL=MGP's?

I replaced the Bank 2 Sens 1 O2 sensor about 6 months ago after throwing a CEL. I finally got around to replacing bank 1 sens 1 as some PM and immediately threw a CEL for that sensor. My gas mileage has increased noticeably tho (2mpg)...

Can the dielectric grease foul the sensor? Everything is tightened and clipped in, I can check that again tho. Any other ideas?

Did you say "dielectric" as in non-conducting? I would think the sensor would use it's base as a ground path.

But if you're picking up 2 mpg then leave it alone!

Out of curiosity, were they the Amazon Denso's?

I got the Denso sensor from RockAuto.com

The grease is the bronze goop that comes in the box with the sensor

the gas mileage is improved but it smells a bit rich...
