Hey guys, So I have a fj60 with the 2f and h55f in it, and today I picked up a wrecked fzj80 and I have heard that some 70 series come with the 1fz motor and the h55f 5 speed tranny behind is this true? If so would my bellhousing work or would I have to buy a different one. any help would be great. thanks, Josh
The fz powered cruisers in the 70 series range come with the h150 mate as far as the aus spec cruisers anyways. The fj 75s etc with the 3 f run the h55 , but anything is possible
Sorry JuanJ but the only drivetrain Toyota offered in the USA in the 80 Series was the petrol 1FZJ engine, automatic transmission, and a full time transfer case.
so this is the whole inside on it. so I have 2 60's and a fzj80. and yesterday I bought another fzj80 which is totalled but the engine is good, so I want to put the 1fz into one of my 60's to replace the 2f. and I want to bolt it right up to my aussie h55f 5 speed is this possible?
Sorry JuanJ but the only drivetrain Toyota offered in the USA in the 80 Series was the petrol 1FZJ engine, automatic transmission, and a full time transfer case.
There is a guy selling a 1fz and h150 gearbox in the 70 series section of 4wdaction.com.au
In the 80 series The h150 or h151 came behind the 5 motors ofered in the 80 series the 3fe petrol 6 avl til sep 92 that motor was replaced with 1fz-fe petrol 6 , the 1hz then the turbo diesel 1hdt 90-94 1hdft 95-98
In the 7x series the 3f until sep 92 run the h55 manual 5 spd , oct 92 the fzj 7x was released and came with the h150 box
the diesel 7x cruisers from 85-sep99 come with the h55 aswell bar a few rare early ones that came with 4 speed manual
so no 1fz came with the h55 but if the 3fe and the 1fz in the 80 series got a h150 ... Can the h55 mate with the fZ
