I may have made this thread awhile back but I can't remember now and couldn't find it it anywhere so I must have dreamt I did it.
I'm in the Military and currently stationed in Alabama but I recently shipped a FJ43 back home to my dad in North Bend (Coos Bay not the north side of Bend). It just arrived a few weeks ago and he is just starting to dive into it. Really just giving it a tune up before doing a partial tear down to paint it and give it a little freshening up this winter.
Just seeing if anyone else is near the area (Sneezy) that wanted to go do some light wheeling in the dunes. He is intersted in the vehicle and I'm trying to get him interested in joining one of the local clubs so he can catch the same addiction and affinity I have for Land Cruisers. He has always been a Toyota truck guy so it shouldn't be to hard for him.
Here is a link to the vehicle. It isn't going to be anything crazy but it will probably recieve a slight lift, some tall skinnies, and a softtop, and a heater/AC unit, maybe some lockers and 4.10s if we get really motivated down the road.

I'm hoping to move back to the National Guard and join you all in about a year if my transfer from Active Duty works out. I miss the good country. Otherwise I owe another six years after flight school and the FJ43 will be staying there for the next half a decade so I figure it might as well get some use. If anyone ever feels like stopping by and is in the area he is always down at the shop tinkering on something. If you can't tell from the video he is just accross from the old airport.
I hope to see you out on the trails or at least my rig and old man in some of your pictures for the trail rides. They look like a blast.
