Hi guys, first post here. Im a big fan of the 80 series, I've owned 2 so far. First was a 93 standard (dont think you guys have the standard in the US) with 1hz diesel.

But I had to get rid of that one before I was ready to:doh:

Welcome to mud....

Welcome! Put some shrimps on the barbie for us...! :)

Hi Shane nice pics ,pity about the 80STD.
Are those pics in the Karratha area. Ive been past there lots of times but never stopped.
I want to drop in and explore it a bit more this year

Welcome, Shanegtr, nice to see more and more Aussies joining the board lately! So, what did you hit with your '93? That must have been the mother of all red kangaroos, or did you hit a water buffalo?

A sad day...two Landcruisers go to the grave in one wreck :crybaby:

PS Welcome!!

BTW is that a Kaymar rear bumper?

Nice rig, I really wish toyota would consider the U.S. for some of the cool stuff they send you guys..

Are those the rims we get on our LX450s?

What special stuff do we have?

Ambulance doors, diesels, sub tanks, to name a few. And don't you guys get the air filter monitor to tell you when it needs to be replaced?

Yes they are the same, only came on the 4oth anniversary models here. I'm trying to get a second spare for my wheel carrier. They are bloody hard to find, and dont bother with toyota I can get a full aftermarket set for the price they want for 1. Could most likely get one sent over from the US cheaper:rolleyes:

Ambulance doors are s***, my firt cruiser was nothing but problems, new hinges, new latches/catches aligned and I still had to slam the s*** outta the left door to get it to shut properly. They just flog out over time and end up leaking dust. The 100 series do the same thing, I wouldnt get one again.

Here you go my friend. I'm sure with a little coaxing you could get it shipped down under. :D

You can also try www.car-part.com Lots of cheap used parts there.

What about the air filter monitor? Was that a Aussie standard as well?
Is $109 a reasonable price for these over there?
Yes mine has a clogged air filter dash light - might just be a diesel thing, I dont know if the petrol models here have it
My first cruiser was a standard

I dont honestly know if thats a good price. the car-part.com site has some for $75, but no pics so who knows if there in good shape?
