Joey has a 1992 FJ 80 and resides in Flagstaff. Tell us more about yourself and the history of your Landcruiser.

Arizona native(Tucson), Flagstaff resident for 20 years. Had old VW buses, but have since been priced out. Have a couple LC friend’s up here and was wanting something to wrench on and tinker with. I convinced my better half to let me pick one up back in the fall of 2021. Was flipped by a local who got it from someone here in Flagstaff, that seemed to have it for awhile.

Spring of ‘21 I missed cracked radiator and overheated. That took me off the road for 2.5 yrs as I slowly did a HG job(just lost momentum and motivation).

2.5 years later, the truck has a new radiator and a new HG. It’s been desmogged, 33’s mounted to OEM wheels and I’m working on removing the frapping tint job as well as mounting OME 850/860 springs with some Bilsteins that I picked up back in 2022. The dry winter has opened up some time to get some things done . Been really enjoying putting some miles on this.
