NEW Lynskey Ti 29'er

I am so pumped.
I ordered a Lynskey Pro sl 29'er a couple of days ago and it should be here at the end of next week. I have had many bikes and am currently on a SC Superlight, which has been a great bike.
I have always wanted to build a Ti hardtail, and also have been wanting a 29'er, so i guess i am finally getting both.
Build up is Rock Shox Sid xx, XTR 2x10 race, Easton ea90xc wheels, ea90 stem, bars, Ti seat post, etc...I have not raced in years, and do not plan to again, so this will be just a fun single track, climbing machine. Will post pics when i get this puppy.

Have you put it on a scale yet? I've been kicking around the idea of upgrading to ti 29er. The one I was looking at claims to be under 22lbs. I'm somewhat skeptical. I have a Ti road bike, and while lighter than my wife's all carbon Specialized Ruby, it still weighs 17lbs ready to ride. My Alu. hard tail 29er is around 30lbs. I'd guess, based on components yours is really close to the one I've drooled over. They use a Reba xx, which is heavier than a SID xx. I think your wheels are lighter too. It's a super light bike either way. I'd love to know what yours weighs if you ever happen to stick it on a scale.

How do you like the ride so far?

Weight is about 23 with pedals, and junk handle bars and grips. My bars should be here soon, and just that will make a huge difference. It rides lighter than that, if that makes sense. I do not miss my fully at all it rides so well.

Everytime I buy a ti bike, I never end up keeping it long. I have owned Serotta, Litespeed and Seven's, but always seem to go back to carbon.

My current ride is a 2009 GF Superfly and weighs in at about 23lbs. I told the wife just today I think I am going to sell it though.

Hope you enjoy the ride. After reconstructive knee surgery I am sketchy in the brain about falling and causing another injury.
