Hello all:

Father drove a 1993 LC for over 20 years. The LC was solid and never had any problems. I have always wanted one and finally started looking this year. Didn't really want to spend $77k on a new model and I think the screens in the back seats are stupid.

I was not able to find any 2013-2014 LCs with low milage in Texas. Ended up finding 2013 LX with 36,000 miles. It had a single owner and was always serviced at the Lexus dealership. In fact, the previous owner had the car detailed almost every time she brought it in for service.

I have had the car for a week and love it. Gas mileage is terrible but that was expected.

Need help figuring out where and how to store/mount my handgun. My LX has the cooler box, so I think my only option would be to mount a holster somewhere in reach of the driver's seat. I did search the forums and did not find anything to resolve the issue. Thought I would ask how other members are carrying.

On my hip. ;)

In 40 states? On my belt, pocket or door.

In my home state of CA? Unloaded and separated from Ammo... -Rendered a useless hunk of metal...since since guns do jump up and committ crimes all by themselves these days...

Thinking they'll soon release all prisoners, and simply lock guns, knives, trucks and pressure-cookers in cells. :( It's a crazy world any more...

This looks like an interesting option. Care to share a picture? No worries if not...
Here's something just as good, but you want the left hand kydex holster even though you are right handed. The velcro is infinitely adjustable for reach, angle, etc...

CrossBreed Ohai Modular Holster

Thank you for the responses. I actually own a right hand Ohai holster with the bedside backup accessory. I don't use it anymore so I may just mount the Ohai holster on the right side with the grip toward the front of the car. I think it would be easier to draw with my right hand in this configuration than from a left handed holster.

Now I just need to figure out whether to mount Velcro or to actually hard mount the holster the the car. Mounting the Velcro would give me option in the future to attach other holsters and spare clips.

Any thoughts on what would cause less damage to the car? Do you see any issues with hard mounting (screws) the holster to the car?
