That's easy - I've already done that one: 40psi.

Sweet thanks I was looking for it on the forums. Thanks again man!

Do you have any pics of 275/60R20 on an LX? Thanks!

Not a great picture but I will post some more once she is all cleaned up one is in neutral and one is in high

I don’t know if the differnat psi of the spare question has been answered but... I run KO2s on the 20s on my LX in the summer at 46 psi. In the winter I change my 4 on the ground tires to Nokians on 18” tundra wheels at 35 psi. After the reset I don’t get a warning given the one spare tire is at 10 psi more.

I think I've found my replacement tires, the Michelin Defender LTX M/S. In closest to stock size (285/60-20) it's a $300 E range LT tire the weighs 54 pounds. In 275/60-20 it's a P tire $235 tire that weighs 42 pounds. In 275/55-20 its a P $200 tire that weighs 39 pounds. I'm driven by the least expensive and lightest version that would stll be "32ish. Just out of curiosity on a 15 LX, what would the tire pressures on each version be?

When you reset the TPMS, the system "learns" the pressure of each tire individually. The system will alarm when any tire loses 25% of the pressure it was when the system was reset. In the winter, if you reset the system with 4 Nokians @35psi and your spare @46psi, the system will alarm if any of the Nokians goes below about 26psi or if the spare goes below about 35psi.

Hi all.

Recently added a new (to me) '15 LX 570 CPO to the 200 family. 26k mi, Nebula Gray on Black, excellent shape. Still can't believe I picked this one up for almost 40% off it's original msrp and only 2.3yrs on the road. Psyched! Will load some pics once I get settled down (just had a baby, time evaporates).

Looking to immediately mount Method Racing 18 x 9 NV 305 (5 x 150 bolt, 25mm offset, 6" spacing) with BFG K02 AT 285/65 R18 (32.5"). Tentatively planning to remove NV outer rim decorative bolts and anodize them anthracite color to tie in better with Nebula Gray for a more refined look. Attached a few pics that show the stock wheel/tire combo.

Link to wheel@Tirerack: Method NV

Does anyone forsee any fitment issues (caliper clearance/liner) on a 570 with this spec? I'm fine with some light inside liner trimming, which I've admittedly never done before.

Any comments welcome, including consideration for trying other wheel combos (including stock wheel with 275/60R20 K02 32.9"). When I can swing the time, plan to visit Slee (I'm local) to see how their 570 sliders are working out and hopefully install.

Thanks! Look forward to taking a more active role in the forum, instead of just long-time lurker ;)

The tire dilemma.......
So many people going large for no apparent reason w/exception of looks. The tragic part are so many people going E load with something like KO2's. It's all about mass for me. For every pound of tire is the equivalent of 4-6 lbs of rotational mass. The further out from the center hub that mass is, the more affect it has on the vehicle. As in heavy tires suck!
I shaved 10 lbs. In each wheel well by putting 18" Enkei wheels with Toyo Open Country AT3's. 265/65/18's. The LX feels and handles so much better. Heavy hits are no worries. Off roading is superb. I've run a lot of KO2's on previous Land Cruisers and Tundras. It's a great tire off road. That's about it. I would not run it for a daily cruiser. More importantly, the same size KO2 tire is 10 lbs. heavier then my Toyos. Doesn't sound like much, but its significant.
Good luck and enjoy those 200 series rigs!
