Hello all,

I am a now the proud owner of a 2002 LC. Thank you to all of those who helped me decide on my purchase. It was checked out by a mechanic (I forgot my scanner and I wanted to look at it on a lift) and myself. The car is pretty clean, just a few cosmetic things here and there and I hate the wheels. The good news is that I found maintenance records dating back to when the car was purchased, clean carfax, and all of the maintenance that wasn't done was completed by the person who I purchased it from, with receipts.

The two biggest issues are the nav and the passenger side mirror. For the nav, I didn't think the nav and climate controls would be integrated. They work great, but I would like to put something a little nicer in there with more options and hands-free capabilities. I guess I am going to do some rewiring now that I have searched about it here. I have already ordered the climate control, with pigtails, I will need.

Second, the passenger side mirror won't adjust. The one thing I didn't check because it was already set when I test drove it. I can hear the motor trying and the mirror fidgeting, but not really moving. I am hoping it is just knocked loose off of the brackets, but who knows. I can get one for $100, so not too big of a deal.

I drove the car 100 miles home (3 hours in a stop and go traffic). It drove great and I am very happy with the choice. Looking forward to cleaning it up and enjoying the ride. Also looking forward to being a part of the LC community!

Check the Wheels + Tires section of the classifieds - there are usually a few sets of stock 100 series wheels (16" or 18") for sale at any given time.
