I just picked up a 2009 gx, added to collection for the winter and the summer driving up here in the mountains. I was shocked to find that there’s a worthwhile forum that is so active in 2025.

Stock, 142k miles… looking forward to wheels and tires though.

Looks like a heavy load on top. If so, you need to consider upgrading the transmission cooler

And there’s a thread for wheels and tires with photos. It has thousands of posts.

welcome! I guess we're all a bit old school here lol. Facebook car groups have turned a lot of car forums into ghost towns. A lot of good info exist on forums but good luck trying to engage in a conversation with anyone haha.

update:

Sold stock wheels, bought bronze trd wheels and put Nokian outpost nat's on those. The stock stereo has been bothering me so I ordered the 4 pack ds18 8 ohm speakers everyone on here recommends. Those should be in early this week. Then in late June or July I am going to order and install the dobinsons twin tube shock kit along with doing new air bags.

Fun vehicle!
