New here but not to Toyotas.... I couldn't find an introductions section so I thought since I drive an '89 HJ61 VX I'd say hi here. Live in Port Dover, Ontario, Canada. Work as a petroleum mechanic. I've always had 1st gen Toy trucks, and 4Runners. I imported my HJ61 from Japan last yesr and it's been a great truck! Stock drivetrain, auto, 15x10 2pc alum rims, 35" BAJA CLAW radials, 4" springs, factory winch. It came with 38" Ground Hawgs and a spring over kit but it's kind of hard to hike our 2yr old 5ft off the ground so I brought it down a bit. I've been reading for hours on here and there's a ton of good info. I haven't monkeyed with the truck much yet but do have some plans. It's my DD, and is currently for sale because I'm getting a company truck but I'm getting the itch to keep it again now!!

Welcome to the Mud. Too bad your selling it. There'd be a line if you were selling in the States.

Must be 25 yrs old.

Pretty nice looking. I always get a bit of a chuckle when a truck is lifted way up, and then a side step is put on, kind of defeating the clearance. How do you like those monsoon vent visor things?

Not to big on those stock bumpers but very nice lookin unit. Port Dover eh, was there on Canada day at a party with relatives, what a zoo!
Didn't even get a hot dog, couldn't get near the place.
