I am new to the board and thought I would introduce myself. I have long been a classic Bronco guy and recently sold my EB and bought a 60. I needed a rig that is capable of being able to be wheeled and carry the family on the trails. I have had the 60 for 1 day and so far I like it….Alot. I hoped to be part of the Cruiser community for some time.

If any of you are in the bay area, or in the Sierras (Arnold Area) I live in both areas and would love to meet you. I also wheel quite a bit either in my (dare I say it) Jeep, or in the Cruiser. If you’re up for some wheeling let me know.

Welcome,

The 60 is a great choice if you want to take the family and still have a capable rig. Every rig has its purpose.

Welcome aboard, Mtnmn99! I'm usually up for some trail exploring as Elise isn't quite ready for any heavy trail use just yet. Always good to have new blood in the Land Cruiser community.

I've always liked the early model Bronco's!

Maybe we can get a central CA trail run going this spring/summer, anywhere in/around the Sierra is fine with me.

Prost!

The club I am in Gettinoff 4x4 http://www.gettinoff4x4.net/ has a 5o-50 mix of Toyotas vrs Jeeps. Its a great club, we run many runs in the Sierras, infact we have a snow Run this weekend going to Wentworth Springs via Georgetown. Sadly though I wont be able to attend.

I will post a note when our next run is. It would be great to have a few more Toyota especially Cruiser guys on the run.

Damn i wish that run was on a sunday instead of saturday. Are you guys mainly bay area?

i definetly think us NorCal guys should get a run together and check out the sierras, I happen to live in them and know some cool spots.

Can't believe you sold an EB for the Cruiser. Don't get me wrong, I love mine, but if I had to get rid of the Bronco or Cruiser, the Cruiser would go. Glad to see you here on this site though. Keep us updated as you build her up.

And I'm just down the road from ya;p Too bad your wagon will make mine look as though I'm wheelin' a lowrider! :hillbilly

I have owned 6 EB's over time. It was time for something different. I have a Jeep that is fixed up and the EB was nice but just too hard to wheel with kids and such. Maybe in the future I will own another one.

We have members all over the place but our club is mainly bay area based. We have many runs I will post as they come up, perhaps we can have a good cruiser run in the sierras. The next mild to moderate sierra run is in May. Our adopt a trail is Sour Grass trail. We do an annual clean up on that trail then go run Slick Rock and Deer Valley. I will past as that gets closer.
