Just wanted to join the fun around here.
From Colorado area, new to the cruiser gang but not new to the toyota crowd.
Just picked up my baby this week and will be an ongoing project from now on.
Got a screaming deal that I just couldn't pass up.
Just a few of the specs

84 tlc
350 swap
old man suspension w/ spring over
cut and turned knuckles
lockers front and rear
37" tires
corbeau baja front seats
custom swing out tire rack

This thing is a blast, going to start to do it up more now
Hope to see you all here and on the trails
See ya

Nice rig! Are your rear flares plastic or fiberglass? What do you think of them so far?

They are the plastic ones, I like them. I have the front ones to put on too. They got taken off when the front clip was taken off for the engine swap. The front clip got repainted while off and the flares never got put back on.

Welcome to the club! Im thinking of doing the same set up to mine at some point. I was wondering because of the soa + the lift, does the truck feel unstable at all in turns? Some advise to de arch the springs saying that wagons become more unstable at that height esp on the trail. Just curious how the truck rides with that lift? Thanks

I haven't noticed an uneasy feeling in turns at all, but I don't drive it like a sports car either. It rides very good in my opinion. You would be suprised at the amount of flex on the trails.
It wheels very well on the trails, I have been very suprised at what it can do. I have been very happy with the old man emu springs, with the ride on the streets and flex on the trails.
