I wanted to say hello, I have been interested in joining the HDC club for a while. I have been a member on mud for a while and have had a few cruisers but they were all daily drivers so I could not afford to chance taking them out to play. Fast forward to now I still don't have a cruiser but have started building what think will be my dream cruiser a fj45 on a 80 chassis. I have a thread started in the hardcore corner of the forum. I expect it will take me a few years to get it done but eventually I would like to meet some other cruiser heads in the area and make some trail runs. I do have an expo camper so if the trip is more overland expedition type than I would be up for it.

I live up in the Jemez Mountains between Jemez Springs and Los Alamos. If your ever up this way and I can help you out look me up.

Welcome to the club. A friend of mine, Sam, and I were just talking about your 45 yesterday. Sounds like quite the project.

Welcome!! Tell us about your expo camper, sounds interesting. Sounds like it's a Tundra based camper?

nice! I have been watching your build and never realized you were here in NM. I am building a 45 on a 60 chassis with my son, Project 16. Welcome!

The expo camper was built on a tundra platform. I attached a picture of the expo camper "Tunook" but You can check out the build for it here: Tunook Build Has New Life - Expedition Portal

Your project sounds pretty cool do you have a build thread for it? If so where can I find it?

BionicCruiser - I found your project, nice work. It looks like a cool project.

Wow, that's a very nice looking integration, pretty seamless. I recall when Irbis started this project, way back when.

Irbis did a great job getting it mounted. His work has held up great. Really he did the hard work or at least the work that would have been that hardest for me to accomplish.

I had the pleasure of grabbing some parts from Dennis last sat after the HDC breakfast. If anyone needs 40/80 parts, Dennis is the man. He took over some of the inventory from Ray who also lives in the Jemez. Dennis has some sweet rides and a killer project in the garage. Speaking of which, he has a killer garage...drool!! The 45 on 80 chassis with the 4.7v8 combo is gonna be sick, sick, sick.
