welcome to the forum! time to start your list of planned mods!
It's well documented that I hate the factory running boards, so you know my vote!

Great looking 100! On the slider front, what's your intended use for your rig? You can gain a couple inches of clearance by just removing your running boards, and it makes it look cooler haha. Have fun with it and figure out how you intend/want to use it before getting into mods. These things are amazingly capable stock

Sliders should be the first thing on the upgrades list. The stock running boards cut a lot of ground clearance and provide no protection to the rockers if doing rocky off-roading. The sliders gain you ground clearance over the stock steps, protect the rockers from bash damage and still provide a step to get in (important for shorter people). I don't go on big rocky trails often (mostly gravel and dirt). But, I figure it's better to have sliders and not need them then to need them and not have them.

Nice ride. Take off the running boards, put on 285/75/16 AT tires and she's ready for most non-hard trails. Throw on some sliders and you've got a really capable rig. That's essentially what I have and it's great for everything but some of the more difficult, damage-inducing trails.

Welcome!

I say drive over to Slee (in Golden) and burn down one whole credit card and never look back.

In order I would:
  • Baseline the vehicle maintenance. Change fluids, belts, hoses, brakes etc as needed.
  • Clean it up, treat the leather, baseline the paint
  • Fix any obvious little things that need attention.
Then I would:
  • Pull the running boards
  • Get sliders
  • Drive the thing and upgrade as needed... or wanted.
I am up in Broomfield if you need a hand with anything, shoot me a PM.

Awesome thanks for the advice - I used Slee for a lift and a few other things on my tacoma a few years back so I trust them with my (piles of) money.
