If dealer is doing the repack how much more labor to install new pads? Don't need rotors resurfaced.

my dealer would not just replace pads without at least resurfacing rotors so their quote for new pads up front was like $800 to include resurfacing rotors and repack. dont know if that's everyone's policy but was my experience at my local dealership.

Yeah that is going to be your challenge, getting the dealer to agree to simply replace the pads without resurfacing or more than likely replacing the entire rotor.

I bet they will want a min of .5-1.0 hour.

They will have the whole thing apart and in their hands already. Wouldn't you think it would just be the price of the pads plus maybe 30 min.? I would present it to them that way and ask for that pricing. Likewise, wouldn't your just have them turn the rotors and pay maybe an extra hour's labor if needed? All the big labor is already included in the repack.

No vibration from the rotors, so turning them is just a waste of rotor material time and my money.
