It's close, but it clears! The only thing I don't really care about the way I have my reservoirs mounted, is the fact that the stainless line has a pretty tight bend in it. That's due to the fact that the line exits the shock body near the top, right where the frame is located.
I had to bend it pretty sharp to clear the frame, and still allow the resi to attach to the shock body.

For the fronts, it's no problem as there is a lot more room up top, but I'm probably going to end up mounting my rears like you have yours!

Sweet, glad you got it to work. I will be working on a better mount for the rears. ill let you know what I come up with. I think I will weld a few tabs or brackets to the cross member for the resi's to mount to. The way I have it now works but I want a better solution.

So jelly!

Well, thanks for the response and looks like you guys are showing off a little :) I would have jumped at the chance to get these but somehow I missed the tight window. If anyone received a set and are looking to get rid of them, let me know :) I'm probably going to look at some other options but my setup does seems to be settling a bit.

I got in and paid in full and was told mine had been built and were ready to ship, but then got the no go.

Have filed dispute with paypal and am still waiting for my refund, i will not let this go untill i have all of my money back.

I'm in the same boat. I paid in full on September 14 and ended up filing a dispute with PayPal last Thursday, right at the end of the 45 day window on PayPal. The seller issued a refund but I'm still waiting to receive it.

SOCALFJ- Sorry you're caught in the middle of this. You were just trying to hook us up with some great shocks.

I got my refund NO PROBLEM, I feel bad he lost his job more than not getting my shocks

Yes, but at some point it would have been nice to get an email from Simon letting me know what was going on. The last I heard from him was when he responded to an email on October 4. He told me my shocks were ready to go and they would ship out that week.

I had the same problems with Simon, It was not with out its difficulties to get the shock and to have him answer his emails. But in the end I think he will do the right thing and get everyone there money back. I am really bummed this is they way it turned out.

I think this will all work out in the end I'm just worried about how long it will take. I've had new springs sitting in my garage for over a month just waiting for shocks to arrive so I could install them.

If anyone from Fox sees this thread- please make these shocks happen. It seems like the shocks that were delivered where put together with off the shelf pieces that you already make. The people who have them love them. Why not start offering these shocks?

I originally paid for 4 shocks and a steering stabilizer, and finally received my front shocks last Thursday, so it's taken a LONG time for everyone it looks like.
Still haven't seen my steering stabilizer, nor do I ever expect to...

Tim,
What kind of mounts or brackets are out there to mount the resis better in the rear, instead of the half ass job I did :) I have very very little fab skills compared to you. Let me know what you think.

The guy lost his job? That sucks. Would have been nice to have this setup. That being said, there are some mudders who have gone through downsouthmotorsports to get fox shocks w/ resi. They have stem to stem and stem to loop for rear. They go for about $189 a shock on their site.

Yep, im already running Fox 2.0s on my 80 but wanted these ones for our 105 series. I got my Fox 2.0s from sonny at DSM and couldn't recommend him highly enough and yes he is now selling them with bolt in ends for the 80, i had to do a bit of playing around with mine back when i did it.

That's Sweet news!!! Maybe a group buy is in order??

I am in the same situation. Paid but no shocks. I filed a dispute with paypal, but they closed the case saying I was past the 45 day limit. My only recourse now is through the CC directly. Multiple emails with Simon and he won't give me anything concrete as far as his plan to make it right, just keeps leading me along. I called Fox and nobody has even heard of this guy. Are MJ80 and myself the only ones that have not received anything?

I filed a dispute with PayPal a week ago and a refund was issued but I haven't received the refund yet.

Just got off the phone with Down South and he said they can do the conversion for the fronts to set it up to a Stem to Stem mount. the fronts were quoted at around $225 and the rear about $190. This is per shock - 2.0 resis. He also said he would give us a special price for a group buy!!!

he ask me to find out about how many people are interested in it. then he said we could go over some numbers for the group buy prices.

he also said they offer different lengths.

What do you guys think??

*Edit* and they would valve to our specs.

I am going to take my rig down to him and have him check my valve specs. and adjust my rears as they are a little to soft from what Simon has them set at now.

Please email me if you are interested. Hendricksondataservices@gmail.com and give me as much detail as possible about your rig. I.E weight, lift, tire size so he can give his recommendations.
