Pics and info to come, picking it up tonight. Can't drive the ranger anymore, just too cramped, so I got something bigger, much bigger.

Also i'm trying to goad Brian into posting pics up of his new DD beater :p

I'll just say mine is bigger than Brian's

So, here's mine. But not a daily driver yet... :D

OH YEAH, Drove it home like that :D. Listened to the Turbo spool up on my way. Drove so fast snapped the cord holding the hood down, and now I can't sell the front windshield to someone...

Holy crap brian when you said it was a complete running car.... you should have defined complete ;)

Mine is a 87 SDL, different engine than Brian, more power and almost as reliable as the OM617 he has, I have the OM603.

Not quite sure how many miles are on mine since the odo doesn't work, paint needs to be done on the hood, got to fix a shimmy in the passenger front suspension. But the engine was replaced and only has 90k on it, Did 100 on the way home easily.

Now i've just got to figure out how to lock the doors

Key from the out side doesn't appear to work, will only lock when i'm sitting in the drivers seat with the door closed (perfect if I never plan on getting out)

I got mine because I needed a DD beater and I just couldn't take driving the really small ranger. This came up for dirt cheap so I jumped on it. Tons of room, very long, I had the drivers seat all the way back and I could still sit behind it.

Anyway if the car ever falls apart i'll be transporting the engine to a 4 runner or old 40 if luke ever sells an adapter for this engine.

Well I was looking for a complete running car, but this one was much cheaper! It will just get me to complete my project faster....
