Found an '84 Mini at too good of a price to pass up. The trany was out of it because of a botched clutch job, got it back together yesterday, it's status changed from pusher to driver.:D It runs well, but still has some minor issues, the power steering pump, valve cover, exhaust manifold and front crank seal have minor leaks. The rear drive shaft splines are frozen, so need to find a replacement.

My plan was to remove the body and make a formula toy, but it has a very nice body with all of the original bits, so at this time I haven't decided it's fate. It's a loaded SR5 long bed, A/C, PS, power windows, bucket seats, even a power antenna with a rise/lower switch on the dash like L/Cs have. Right now it's just going to get cleaned up, the PM brought up to date and used as the daily beater.

Did it come with the dark gray 17" Tundra/Sequoia rims...or 2 different pairs of wheels?

Ack! Regular cab. OK for occasional use, not so good for DD'ing IMO. But, I assume the price was right.

Came with stock chromes.

I would have prefered extra cab/short bed, but price was right.

Congrats! Is this the one advertised as 85 SR5 PU?

Please let me know if you decide to go formula toy. I need a lot of interior parts :)

Yes.

Don't think I will be going F-toy on this truck, it's too nice

Have you ever heard of rags to clean your hands with before you touch the truck?:flipoff2:
Man you are messy!

That's leftovers from the PO!:flipoff2: He said his hall, bathroom, laundry room and kitchen looked just like that, not a happy daddy!

Ya right...They look like your prints:flipoff2:

Only one problem with your theory, if you look at the pix, no crossmember, they were taken before I worked on it! Most of the prints were pressure washed off before I started working on it.:flipoff2:

Nice score Kevin. I secretly wanted to get that truck myself.

Good Score! If ya really Mod it for the trails, the standard cab won't be such a pain. But, I've also had an '83 standard cab Hilux and man, I couldn't take the cramped area. I'm all 4runner now baby.

Well...sort of.

I already have too much going on, but I want to build a buggy for my daughters (mini or suzuki);)
