Found an '84 Mini at too good of a price to pass up. The trany was out of it because of a botched clutch job, got it back together yesterday, it's status changed from pusher to driver.
It runs well, but still has some minor issues, the power steering pump, valve cover, exhaust manifold and front crank seal have minor leaks. The rear drive shaft splines are frozen, so need to find a replacement.
My plan was to remove the body and make a formula toy, but it has a very nice body with all of the original bits, so at this time I haven't decided it's fate. It's a loaded SR5 long bed, A/C, PS, power windows, bucket seats, even a power antenna with a rise/lower switch on the dash like L/Cs have.
Right now it's just going to get cleaned up, the PM brought up to date and used as the daily beater.
