I'm in for Fri. or Sat. night. I have been on this board for a couple of years now and don't know any of you local guys.

Dukebluerog- We need to get together. We can't live more than 10 mins. from each other. If you need any help with your cruiser let me know. I have time, tools, and some knowledge (in that order). I still have your number in a PM, I'll call you soon.

Nice ride. You don't happen to work off Monroe Road do you?

I do work off Monroe Road. Have I seen you around before?

Hey, are any of the Charlotte guys going to Uwharrie on 10/6?

That's interesting b/c I can see Monroe Rd. out the window in my office and I can honestly say, I have never seen your 80 before. That's weird. I live up behind Concord Mills mall in the University area.

I'm meeting a buddy of mine at Uwharrie on Saturday, Sept. 29th for some wheelin. He's a Nissan guy and they're having a big Nissan meet. I tag along b/c I never see many Cruiser Head events in this area. You're more than welcome to come.

John

Yotafan, there is a group going to uwharrie on the 6th of October...

I did see that. I may have to check it out if I don't have anything going on that weekend.

well thats an easy one; its not his only cruiser :D Probably more likely to see his hundy. I just met 77cruiser for some tires, hes on the south side of clt and lately ive been almost a regular weekender since dating a girl in the NODA area. will keep tabs on this one.

Concord FJ62

It's nice to see the pics lets get on the trails. I am learning of how capable my new.... old Fj62 is compared to my xj. I wish i had more time to explore the trails. looking for a weekend trip to Uwharrie this Oct. I will miss the oct. 6th as I have a group going to Deals gap on the bikes if anyone is interested let me know. I would like to get back to Uwharrie.

Thanks, looks like a long shot for this weekend but you never know...

Should be a good crowd for the following weekend.

Just curious, what trails do you guys typically do on these runs? I haven't committed yet, but I am without sliders (next purchase). Are all you guys running sliders?

We run any and all of them depending on the crowd. Sliders aren't a must but they do provide some insurance from damage. You will be fine without them, just have to be a little more careful, go a little bit slower and have a good spotter in certain sections.

I notice you still have your running boards on in the picture. I would take those off unless you want it done for you. :D

Also, I can't tell in the picture / forget from seeing your truck but if your spare is still located underneath, I'd move that as well.

So that wasnt you at Uwharrie on saturday??? i ran across a 62 that looked pretty similar to your avatar runnin w/ 2 jeeps i think. I was in the black n white 55 runnin solo at that point. Didnt get to say hello, but figured that was you. If not lets make it happen next time.

I saw that grey 62 while I was loading my 40 on the dolly at Uwharrie as well. I do not think is his because that guy did not even want to stop to talk. I made it obvious that I was interested in making contact and he passed us by without even waving.
