Just moved to charlotte from los angeles two weeks ago. (what a long drive)
anyway looking foward to meeting other cruiser heads and finding out where the local trails are (even if it's just a mud hole to mess around in near charlotte) I saw there are some events comming up but due to trying to find a job and lack of cash there of I might not be able to make any of those but will try in the future.

Welcome, there are a few guys in the charlotte area, i am sure andy will chime in here shortly, some of us are headed to Pisgah this weekend if you are interested, I understand if not, esp. with the move. Just keep an eye out, i believe we are trying to get a Uwharrie trip together here shortly.

south charlotte.... about 4 miles from uptown 1 block from the 4 wheel parts here

Hey, I live in Charlotte too. Glad to see another 80 owner in town. I live in the Northeast side near the UNCC. Here's a pic of my ride, although it doesn't show my M12000 winch and the snorkel I installed last weekend.

Those are both some good looking rigs there.
There's a guy that works at the 4 wheel parts that is on this board some where. It's a stock white 94+ with a big mud sticker on the back.

Kyle maybe? Dunno, really. Bought some tires from a guy there earlier this year who was into cruisers but he mainly wheeled a built Suzuki Samurai IIRC.

If any of you CLT folk want to grab a beer and talk cruisers sometime, let me know. If I can find the time (read: have enough advance notice), I am game.

Any time you want... my wife serves at a sports bar right by my apartment... angry ales.... any time you want to go there or anywhere else in the charlotte area for a beer let me know.
It might have been kyle... I didn't catch his name but he did say he had a buggy that he did all his wheeling in

Ha, ha, Angrys. Know it all too well. That and Moosehead are regular spots. I am assuming you're talking the Montford location?

If so, I live close too. Let's plan something, it may very well be the inaugural CLT cruiser meet and greet!

EDIT: Looking back at your first post, holy moley you must be bored with the LA to CLT transition...

Yeah the one on Montford... that's the place I only live 2 blocks down the street from it

maybe friday or saturday night? any takers? or maybe saturday during the day if alkaline wanted to come down
